Where in the world are YOU?

So the post from Having Fun in Ecuador reminded me of something I've been meaning to ask... where are YOU this summer? Reply to this post and let us know, whether it is a far-flung, exotic destination, Bradenton Beach, or your own backyard. (I'll only be distressed if your answer is "on the couch.") In the meantime, I'm going to figure out some sort of interactive map for this blog...

Hey Bri! I was away on a cruise for a week and now I'm in St. Pete for a seminar on Florida history ... now I know more about the state I call home. The rest of the summer I'll be hanging out with your mom in summer CLASS. Not a bad life :) Kali is adorable, by the way.

Where was I - where am I - where am I going??
I was in Ireland for a week for Bloomsday - lots of fun. Learned a little about James Joyce, and a lot about Dublin. Not exactly the fields of Tennessee, but still fun.

I am at school :-(. Just a few more days to go and then .. vacation!

I'm going on a little road trip with the dog. July 5th we head to Ohio for a week - probably an overnight stop in NC. Would try to go the whole way but Dutch can't steer and shift at the same time :-)
Then up to NY for a week with the in-laws (Ted is meeting us there). Then back home by way of the Poconos and GA for a few days.
A handful of days to rest at home and then it's back to school. Maybe I should think about this sabbatical thing. I definitely like lazy-daze/days idea.

Hi Bri! I spent a week driving to the Everglades/Miami/Miami Beach/Keys...getting to know more about Florida. I went to visit my family for a week in Ohio, and next week, we are continuing our "Florida Education" by taking three days to explore St. Augustine! Love reading your blog!

Hi Bri! I stayed home this summer, hanging out and playing with the baby. He's so great! But now, I'm back at work, and actually reading all those e-mails from maternity leave. It is great to see your blog, already tracking your movements. I look forward to reading all about the great things you see this year!
